Vincenzo La Ruffa joined SGE in 2006 and focuses on trading and capital markets technology. He currently serves on the boards of 29West, Ballista Securities, Derivix, TradeHelm, and Quadriserv.

Prior to joining SGE, Vincenzo invested in technology companies in the US and UK with NGP Energy Technology Partners and EnerTech Capital. Vincenzo began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Deutsche Bank.

Vincenzo's previous investments include Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV), Intellon (NASDAQ: ITLN, then acquired by Atheros), Clean Air Power (LSE: CAP), Catalytic Solutions (LSE: CTS), Atraverda Ltd, The NanoSteel Company, and Renewable Energy Group.

Vincenzo serves on the management committee Wharton Private Equity Partners, the Technology Advisory Board of Ben Franklin Technology Partners, the Board of Directors of the San Miguel School in Camden, and the Finance Committee of Mercy Vocational High School in Philadelphia.

Vincenzo graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA in Classics from the School of Arts and Sciences.
