Vincenzo La Ruffa joined SGE in 2006 and focuses on capital markets technology and financial services. He currently serves on the boards of Derivix, The Logic Group, MMIT, and ETF Securities (Observer). He previously served on the boards of 29West (acquired by Informatica Corp) and Ballista (acquired by IntercontinentalExchange).

Prior to joining SGE, Vincenzo invested in technology companies in the US and UK with NGP Energy Technology Partners and EnerTech Capital. Vincenzo began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Deutsche Bank.

Vincenzo's previous investments include Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV), Intellon (acquired by Atheros), Clean Air Power (LSE: CAP), Renewable Energy Group (NASDAQ: REGI), Atraverda, and The NanoSteel Company.

Vincenzo serves on the Board of Trustees of Mercy Vocational High School in Philadelphia and the Technology Advisory Board of Ben Franklin Technology Partners.

Vincenzo graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Classics from the School of Arts and Sciences.
