John is an industry veteran with 30+ years of experience in the Trading and Financial technology fields. He has held executive management positions at Addepar, RCA (acquired by MSCI), FactSet, Instinet, and Bear Stearns with a primary focus on Commercial and GTM strategies. John has served as the CRO at Addepar, RCA, and FactSet with a broad purview across Sales, Account Management, Client Success, Implementations, Product Specialists, and Marketing. John has operated both at scale with large public companies and driven rapid growth with small to medium-sized private firms looking to take it to the next level. More recently, John has served as CRO of two private entities, Addepar and RCA. In both cases, he drove their global expansion and rapidly accelerated their growth by bringing scale and operational discipline to all aspects of the GTM organization and strategy.
John has served as an advisor to various US FinTech startups and was a long-time Board Member and Advisor to SCRIPTS Asia Inc. SCRIPTS Asia was sold to the Japan Exchange Group (JPX) in late 2022.
John completed an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Edinburgh and holds a B.A. in Political Science (African Studies)from Duke University.
